We take Health and Safety seriously at Downs Construction, protecting our employees, subcontractors and others who may be affected by our work is of prime importance to us. All our Diamond Drillers are CSCS registered, NVQ level 2 qualified, and are fully Health and Safety compliant to operate the specialist machinery required to complete the job. Every operative is trained to our documented Health and Safety standard and receives annual training from C.I.T.B recognized training providers.

Downs construction works closely with our clients and external chartered Health and Safety consultants to identify hazards, and implement safe systems of work to ensure that every task is carried out in a safe and cost effective manner. This information is documented in the Risk Assessment and Method Statement which is signed by clients and all operatives prior to work commencing. This has allowed us to stay accident free for the last 20 years and gain a CHAS accreditation.
